Diary

Today our group went to film in a stall called 'Fair4all' in Warrington Market, this was a interveiw with Jackie Hancock who is incharge of the stall. Jackie was extremely helpful and she gave us plenty of information. We did this interview twice because of some framing issues in the first take.

Our group went into Warrington town centre to gather vox pops, this session didn't go so well because we couldn't get a large number of people to help us.

We went to my Grandmother's house because she is diabetic, getting her views on her illness and to gather information about the effects of chocolate when you have diebetes.

9th October:
We took some Vox Pop's asking people how they ate their cream egg because its such a famous question. Also we interviewed my grandad on how chocolate was through the war. I asked him questions wondering if chocolate was more of a luxury than it is today and what impact rationing had on it.

16th October:
We went to Warrington Market as we knew there was a stall owned by a woman who had her own chocolate fairtrade stall. We had previously contacted her to arrange an interview and she was more than happy to help. We asked her questions on the audience she creates the chocolate for, how popular fairtrade chocolate is and her general opinion on fairtrade.

26th October:
After coming to the conclusion that the woman we interviewed in the market was really we decided to go back and get more, we asked her more detailed questions to get the information we needed to include in our documentary.

30th October:
We interviewed Dan's nan about her diabeties and how it impacts her daily life. We asked her how she felt when she found out about having diabeties and if she was even allowed to eat chocolate. This was benifical because it shows the audience from a different point of view.

2nd November:
We went back to Stockton Heath to film more Vox Pops with the general public asking basic questions to add to our documentary. We also filmed cutaways of chocolate bars, chocolate cereal, chocolate cakes, chocolate desserts and many other things containing chocolate.

4th November:
We interviewed a Dentist to collect information about if or how chocolate effects peoples dental hygiene and if he likes to eat chocolate himself. We focused on how chocolate can effect an individuals teeth rather than asking him general questions on chocolate.
